I'm a Granby dad with a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old. Every Thursday night I was searching ten different library calendars, town pages and Facebook groups to work out the weekend. Valley Weekends puts that search in one place.

How we check listings

Every event is checked against the organizer's own page and linked so you can confirm it yourself. If we can't confirm something, we label it check before you go. We'd rather leave something out than send you to an empty field.

Where we cover

Granby, Simsbury, Avon, Canton and Farmington. We focus on ages 2–10.
